Building Experience in the Industry
After his formative years on the road, Hans Deckers took his first professional steps into the world that had fascinated him since childhood. He began working as a salesman for several renowned truck and automotive dealers in the region: EMA Mercedes-Benz in Venlo, Scania dealer Habets in Nuth, and Loven Heerlen, a DAF Trucks dealer.
Working with these leading brands gave Hans the opportunity to gain valuable experience across different manufacturers, each with their own technical focus, customer base, and corporate culture. Through this diversity, he developed a broad and deep understanding of the truck and automotive market.
During this period, Hans also significantly expanded his professional network, building relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry professionals. He had daily contact with a wide range of companies, from local businesses to large logistics players. These interactions taught him not only about vehicles, but also about people, needs, and business operations.
He looks back on this time as both educational and enjoyable. It was a period of growth — personally and professionally — and laid the foundation for what would become his own path as an entrepreneur.
